Tina Sportschuetz, Esq.

Owner

Tina opened Saint Simons first and then only dog daycare and boarding facility in 2012. A native of Stuttgart, Germany, Tina moved to the United States in 1998 and now makes Saint Simons Island her home. Tina's love for animals led her away from a career as an attorney. She remains licensed and active to practice law in the State of Florida. Tina owns a Rottweiler named Apache, two horses named Zorro and Bravo, and Elle Woods, a miniature pony. She is happily married to an Army Officer.

April Wood

General Manager

April, originally from Okinawa, Japan, made Brunswick, Ga her home at the age of three, surrounded by a childhood filled with animals. Under her grandfather's guidance on his land, she developed a profound work ethic and a love for caring for animals. Joining Puppy Paradise in 2015 as a dog attendant , April quickly embraced the business. Now serving as our general manager, her relentless dedication and commitment make her an indispensable part of our team. looking ahead, April plans to embark on a journey to become a certified dog trainer, further showcasing her dedication to growth and excellence.
April and her family live in Brunswick, GA with their four dogs, Grace, Eve, Boaz, and Genesis.

Emmalee Ammons

Manager

Emmalee, a Brunswick, GA native, discovered her lifelong passion for dogs during her childhood. From educating herself on various breeds to rescuing stray animals, she immersed herself in the canine world. Emmalee joined our Puppy Paradise crew in 2020 as a dog attendant and bather. Her dedication and expertise elevated her to our management team. Her profound affection for the animal kingdom, combined with her extensive understanding of breeds and animal behaviors, uniquely qualifies her as an invaluable member of our management team.
Emmalee and her family live in Jesup, GA with their two dogs, Koa and Carol.
