Tina Sportschuetz, Esq.OWNER

Tina, the visionary founder of Puppy Paradise, established the first doggy daycare and boarding facility in the area in 2012. Her pioneering spirit and deep love for animals have made Puppy Paradise a beloved and trusted name in pet care.
A native of Stuttgart, Germany, Tina moved to St. Simons in 1998 and now calls it her permanent home. Despite a promising career as an attorney her passion for animals led her to follow a different path. Tina remains licensed and active to practice in the state of Florida.
Tina shares her home with her beloved rottweiler Apache. She has two horses named Zorro and Adagio. She is happily married to Zack, a retired army officer, and together they create a loving environment that reflects Tina's dedication to animal welfare.
Under Tina's leadership, Puppy Paradise has grown into a premier destination for pet care, known for its high standards and compassionate service. Her journey from law to animal care exemplifies her dedication and the values that drive Puppy Paradise. Tina's vision and love for animals continue to inspire and shape the exceptional care that defines Puppy Paradise.

April Wood GENERAL MANAGER

April, our exceptional General Manager, has been an integral part of Puppy Paradise since 2015. Starting her journey as a dog attendant, April's unwavering dedication and love for animals propelled her to the role of General Manager, where she continues to shine.
Born in Okinawa, Japan, April moved to Brunswick at the age of three. Her deep-rooted love for animals began at a young age, nurtured by her grandfather who instilled in her a strong work ethic and taught her how to care for various animals and crops on his land. This early exposure laid the foundation for her passion and expertise in animal care.
April lives in Brunswick with her husband Parker, their children, and their three beloved dogs: Slade, AKA Bubbie, Genesis, and Eve. Her household is a testament to her lifelong commitment to animal welfare and her ability to balance a busy family life with professional excellence.
As General Manager, April's leadership is marked by her compassion, dedication, and relentless drive to ensure the highest standards of care at Puppy Paradise. Her influence is felt throughout the business, fostering a culture of excellence and nurturing environment for both the staff and the animals in our care.
April's journey with Puppy Paradise is a remarkable story of growth and commitment. Her leadership and passion make her an invaluable asset to our team and a beloved figure among colleagues, clients, and the animals she so dearly cares for.

April is also in the process of gaining a certificate in dog handling.

Samantha Crews ASSISTANT MANAGER

Samantha Crews is known for her warm smile and her southern, “hello”, that she greets everyone with. Her love for dogs began early. All the pups that walk through our doors instantly love her!
Samantha joined our team in 2022 as a dog attendant and quickly moved up to supervisor before becoming our Assistant Manager. Samantha’s compassion and dedication to the dogs in our care makes her a valued member of our team. Samantha lives in Waynesville, GA with her husband, their daughter, and their 3 beloved fur babies.
